My God, they must be starving up in Canada, eh Ranshaw?

The Canadian dollar has collapsed against the American dollar in April, falling at an annual rate of about 56% in just one month.

Want to dispute this Ranshaw? Want to tell us all how it doesn't matter? Want to continue your drivel about the American dollar being propped up by a controlling government? If so, then your words will only serve to prove yourself wrong, when you were screaming bloody murder about the fall of the American dollar vs. the Canadian dollar in the Spring of '03.

And let me guess; you're still boycotting the U.S. by using American made products, right? Come on, post using Outlook Express again to show us how well your 'boycott' is going.

Well, we're not as fat as Americans.

dollar in April, falling at an annual rate of about 56% in just one month. <

Guess the US stopped printing greenbacks for a few days. Maybe why the Dow Nasdac/S&P are down!

With the Euro and Pound both well down too, I'd guess that the Canadian $ is responding to some change in the US$, not causing the change in the US$. That change might be the expectation of rising interest rates.

Perhaps you think a collapse of the Canadian economy is causing the US$ to rise and the Euro and Pound to fall!

doesn't matter? Want to continue your drivel about the American dollar being propped up by a controlling government? If so, then your words will only serve to prove yourself wrong, when you were screaming bloody murder about the fall of the American dollar vs. the Canadian dollar in the Spring of '03.<

I never said the US dollar was propped up. Just the opposite. I said the fed was printing money to devalue the dollar. They were doing this to decrease US trade deficit, etc.

using American made products, right? Come on, post using Outlook Express again to show us how well your 'boycott' is going. <

You are getting repetitive, there. I will explain for the very last time.

Boycotting the US is not about throwing out all US goods. It's about not buying new US goods.

In fact, my replacing Outlook with something else would probably be of greater benefit to the US than my continuing to use something purchased before my boycott started.

vs. the American dollar during April. April does end on the 30th of the month. Even you have got to know that. <

Yeah, and May begins with the May 1st. Got nothing to do with the subject at hand.

wrong. It's not problem if you can't handle FACTS. <

Apparently you didn't get very far with in logic class. YOU defined the period of this event with your title (collapse of the Canadian dollar).. therefore you have to stick with that time period.

Over the past couple of months: The Canadian dollar is down. The DOW is down. The Euro is down. The pound is down. Gold is down. The US dollar is UP. These events are connected. When you respond to this, you do not talk about what happened five years ago. That is part of being logical. Another other part of logical discussions is that you avoid personal attacks. If you want to have an emotional exchange, fine, but establish that at the beginning of the thread.

countries were slave and child labor is allowed, such as China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. <

That's nice.
