Some Canadians supported Bush's war on Iraq simply because they thought it they would get cheaper gas prices at the pump when the US managed to steal Iraq's oil. What happened? The prices went UP by 5 cents a litre.

Serves the greedy buggers right!

An American gallon is 3.785 litres, and the Canadian cent is worth about 0.75 of an American cent. The rise was equivalent to 14.2 American cents a gallon increase.
