No Excuses: Torture of Iraqi Prisoners

I don't quite get it. It's okay to try to kill them on the battle field, but don't you dare humiliate them. Which is worse?

Then, by your definition the Iraqi authorities should be able to arrest our soldiers for murder. Also, are you saying Bush is a war criminal...(You'd be right on that).

There was no link between Iraq the events of 9/11. In order to justify a war Bushies labeled Iraqis who fought an invading force of nonMuslims terrorists. They were not. The were defending their country. They lost and were captured. Civilized nations have rules as to how they are to be treated. Don't follow those rules and you lose the right to call yourself civilized. It's your choice.

Why should we NOT believe: That a rock throwing thug needs Love? That a suicide bomber can't help himself? That a killer's intentions with a knife are unclear if he's smiling?

That the only principleis how civil? how magnamanous gullable we can be to the Guilty? and on the basis of that what regard they hold for us?
