Looks like there is now sufficient evidence to prosecute Bush for desertion, AWOL for 31+ days. In time of war, the maximum penalty is death.
Let's go for it. Criminal charges, and make him sit on death row for a while to get a taste of his own medicine.

I hate to say this but records that have been shredded, 'lost' or burned tend to not show much. Never underestimate the Bush crime family

Even if the records show that Bush was AWOL - which I highly doubt - it would not mean a thing.
Bush is not a little person like yourself. Laws are made to keep little people in line, not to constrain big people. Bush can do whatever he wants and does not have to answer to anybody. That's why he's the President and you're just a little p*ss ant.

AWOL is only for 30 days. Bush was gone for a year. That's desertion.

Just the *lack* of pertinent records should itself be enough to convince most rational people that some of the records were 'cleansed' - if not destroyed outright.
The polls now indicate that for the first time, a majority think Bush is *NOT* trustworthy.
The next question for them should have been; 'What the hell took you so long to figure that out?'

in one sense you are correct. There are more pressing issues. However, Al Capone was nailed on income tax evasion. This may the the way Bush is nailed with a felony conviction, blocked legally from running for president.
