Holland may have had it's golden age in the 17th century, but since then well.. As for Belguim, the most famous Belgian is a fictional character in a book written by a English Woman.. You only exist because it suited the great powers to create a country out of the worst of the French and the worst of the Dutch. Your colonial policy under King Leopold was the basis of Joseph Conran's 'Heart of Darkness' which drew the attention of the world to the cruelties of the Colonial Administration. Your national's cf Samuel Degrelle worked for the SS, in fact I cannot for the life of me think of one act of Belgian courage that helped the Allies against Hitler (The Nasty man that walked through your excuse for a country in about 2 weeks)..
