25%+ of British people asked said that the world would be a better place without the belief in God. Communists and atheists are members of parliament for the ruling Labour party. Blair is a head of that socialist party. Do you work for Al Quadi?
China is still an atheist country, counting athestic religions like Buddhaism amongst others. China invented gunpowder and only sparingly used in for war. European Christianity could wait to blowup other Christians.
Who was Franco, Hitler, what were the pogroms? I mean if you want the source of mass violance for a cause you can work back all the way to Jesus Christ, he was the first to demand that religion was important enough to convert people.
Socrete never argued that you had believe the unexamined life wasn't worth living. It was Christians that started making sure those who didn't examine the Christian God weren't living. Crusaders, pogroms, etc.
Karl Marx got his violance straight from the fountain, Christianity.
